A closer look at North Korea’s most powerful weapons

With North Korea keeping the world guessing regarding how it may or may not engage with the incoming Joe Biden administration in the United States, perhaps the North’s weapons speak louder than words. We’ve been taking a closer look at a photo book released last month – the English-language version is titled ‘For Strengthening the National Defence Capability’. The 120-page album portrays North Korea’s military direction under Chairman Kim Jong-un, showing off some of the country’s most powerful weapons developed since Kim took power in 2011. It sends a message to the world that despite sanctions, Pyongyang has been able to independently build military hardware that could threaten even the U.S.
