Gyeongbok Palace's 'woldae' restored
The "woldae" in front of Gwanghwamun, the main gate of Gyeongbok Palace, in downtown Seoul, is restored on Oct. 15, 2023, after excavation work since September 2022. A woldae is a stage built with stone in front of ancient gates that was used for royal rituals and ceremonies. (Yonhap)
