Samsung’s commercial featuring Seo Taiji’s music exceeds 10 mln views on YouTube

SEOUL, June 7 (Yonhap) -- Cheil Worldwide announced that Samsung Electronics's BESPOKE commercials, which used Seo Taiji and Boys' "Comeback Home" as background music, earned more than 10 million views on YouTube.

The advertisement for "COME BESPOKE HOME" was designed to introduce Samsung's BESPOKE line, which has been expanded to various household appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and wireless vacuum cleaners.

Cheil Worldwide explained that the video of various home appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators, and robot vacuum cleaners, which appeared to look like its dancing to the song "Comeback Home" was intended to convey the message of making homes that reflect one's taste.  

The video, which was released on May 14, recorded 12.23 million cumulative views as of today.

Based on the concept of "lifestyle beyond home appliances," the BESPOKE campaign will expand communication with consumers through marketing that collaborates with MZ generation's favorite culture and content, Cheil Worldwide said.
