Trump says U.S. will be leaving Iran 'very soon'

WASHINGTON, March 31 (Yonhap) -- U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that the United States will be leaving Iran "very soon," anticipating that the departure might come within two or three weeks.

Trump made the remarks during a press availability at the White House, responding to a reporter's question about his plan to bring down gas prices that have soared amid the U.S.-Israeli war against the Islamic Republic.

"All I have to do is leave Iran, and we'll be doing that very soon," he said. "And they'll become tumbling down."
