SEOUL, Jan. 21(Yonhap) – K-pop boy group MONSTA X will postpone its concert tour in the U.S. and Canada scheduled for this month due to the spread of Omicron variant, according to Starship Entertainment on Jan. 21.
Starship Entertainment said through its official social media page on Friday, "We have inevitably decided to postpone the tour due to the spread of Omicron variant and the increase in the number of infected people," adding that the tour will be held as a new schedule in May to June.
The agency added that the tour was rescheduled so that it could be performed in a stable situation, considering the health of the audience, artists, and staff as the top priority.
Starship Entertainment said, "We sincerely apologize for causing inconvenience to the fans," adding, "In terms of cancellation of the concert, the refund process will be guided through the reservation website.”
