◇ Actors Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin get married in private ceremony
Celebrity actor couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin got married Thursday, with the wedding ceremony strictly hidden from the public eye.
Actor Jang Dong-gun, a long-time friend of Hyun, delivered a congratulatory speech, while singer Gummy sang "Give You My Heart," an original song from the romantic comedy "Crash Landing On You," co-starring Hyun and Son.
With most details of the nuptials remaining secret, many A-list celebrities attended the ceremony of one of the most beloved star couples in South Korea. Among them are reportedly Jang and his wife Ko So-young, Gong Yoo, Gong Hyo-jin, Ji Jin-hee, Hwang Jung-min and Ha Ji-won.
The couple announced their decision to tie the knot last month, about two years after they started dating.
Hyun, 39, and Son, 40, became lovers in March 2020 after working together as co-stars of the 2018 film "The Negotiation" and "Crash Landing On You," tvN's 2019-20 global hit rom-com TV series.

◇ Stray Kids tops 6 charts in Billboard
Group Stray Kids said that it would dream bigger after topping the main album chart in the U.S. Billboard.
“We are overwhelmed with emotions that the EP ‘ODDINARY’ topped the Billboard main two charts at the same time,” said Stray Kids through the agency JYP Entertainment, Wednesday.
The group ranked No.1 on the Billboard 200 dated April 2 with the new EP “ODDINARY,” on March 29 (local time).
This is the third time for a K-pop artist to rank No. 1 on the chart, following BTS and SuperM. It is the thirteenth album to rank No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as a non-English speaking album.
Stray Kids set the record of ranking No. 1 on Billboard 200 for the first time in 4 years, to be exact 1,470 days, since its debut.
The group also topped Artist 100, which ranks the most popular artists across all genres, graded by album and track sales.

◇ BTS leaves for Las Vegas to attend Grammy Awards, hold live concerts
K-pop supergroup BTS on Monday left for Las Vegas to attend the annual Grammy Awards and hold four live concerts.
Members Jungkook and J-Hope, however, did not show up at Incheon International Airport.
Jungkook left earlier due to his schedule related to the awards ceremony while J-Hope, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, is expected to head for the United States after he is released from self-isolation.
BTS was nominated for best pop duo or group performance for the 64th Grammy Awards on Sunday (U.S. time), possibly to become the first-ever K-pop artist to win a Grammy.
The South Korean septet will also take the stage at the awards ceremony as a performer for the third consecutive year.
It performed with Lil Nas X at the 62nd Grammy Awards held two years ago and hit the stage alone to perform its megahit "Dynamite" at the event's 63rd edition in March last year.
After the ceremony, BTS will hold four live concerts in front of fans at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 8-9 and 15-16.
