SEOUL, Mar. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korean cable channel TV Chosun is set to unveil a special documentary titled “Rhee Syng-man’s 30 years in Hawaii” to mark the 58th anniversary of the death of the first president of South Korea, the channel announced Friday.
The forthcoming documentary will shed light on the years this first and last president of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea spent abroad in Hawaii to raise funds for the independence of Koreans.
The documentary is scheduled to be aired at 9:10 p.m. on Sunday.
