LAS VEGAS, Apr. 9 (Yonhap) -- A purple wave of "ARMY"(BTS’ fan club name) around the world cheering for K-pop supergroup BTS has colored Las Vegas, U.S.

BTS kicked off its "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LAS VEGAS" concert at Allegiant Stadium on Apr. 8 afternoon(U.S. Time).

This is the first time BTS has held a solo concert in Las Vegas.

Like the concerts held in Los Angeles(LA) from November to December last year and in Seoul in March this year, the concert contained a message of "Permission to dance," meaning "You dance as much as you want without permission."

The concert mainly consisted of songs in which all the members participated.

Connie(32), who got to see all the concerts from LA to Las Vegas, said, "I've painted my nail purple. I’m looking forward to seeing all concerts from today to Apr. 16.”

The atmosphere around the Allegiant Stadium, where the concert will be held, heated up as fans from all over the world gathered early in the morning.

The venue can accommodate about 65,000 spectators per concert. The fans who wore purple clothes or dyed their hair purple, symbolizing BTS, gathered at the concert hall while holding the "ARMY BOMB" in their hands.

Large pop-up stores selling concert official merchandises also lined up from the daytime. The daytime temperature in Las Vegas exceeded 30 degrees Celsius, but fans enjoyed choosing various products regardless of the heat. Some fans showed flash mobs to hit songs, such as "Butter" and "Dynamite," and exchanged merchandises by opening "ARMY Market," where fans changed remaining merchandises or photo cards.

At the promotional booth provided by the Korea Tourism Organization on one side of the concert hall, foreign fans experienced Hanbok, the traditional Korean clothes.

BTS will perform once more on Apr. 9 continue its concert from Apr. 15 to 16 after taking a short break.

During the concert, a photo exhibition and a pop-up store covering the preparation process of the concert will be held in downtown Las Vegas, where you can enjoy the "Bellagio Fountain Show," which is one of the world's top three fountain shows, along with BTS music.
