SEOUL, Mar. 20 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group NCT U members Do-young, Mark, and Hae-chan's "coNEXTion (Age of Light)," which is the second song of SM "STATION : NCT LAB," will be released through diverse music platforms at 6 pm on Mar. 20.
The title "coNEXTion" is a combination of "co-NEXT," which refers to moving forward together, and "connect," which means that all time is connected.
The song is an alternative hip-hop genre and maximized the meaning of connection between the past and the present with sounds of synthesizer and traditional instruments, such as gayageum, janggu, taepyeongso, and jing.

Mark was in charge of rap making of the song, and the other member Shotaro, who did not participate in singing, appears in the performance video of "coNEXTion (Age of Light)," which is revealed at the time of its release, and presents powerful performances with dancers under the theme of "Light and Connection."
This song is also used as a theme song for the "Age of Light" project, where the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency designed a center of content experience space at Gwanghwamun.
SM "STATION: NCT LAB" is a project where NCT members present the group's diverse styles of music, such as their solo songs, self-composed songs, and unit songs.
