SEOUL, Apr. 20 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group YOUNITE has made a debut in the music scene with their strong ambitions.
The agency Brand New Music said on Apr. 20, “The 9-member boy group YOUNITE will release the first mini album “YOUNI-BIRTH” after a long time of preparation.”
YOUNITE is a rookie boy group launched by Brand New Music, where RHYMER and AB6IX belong to.
The name of the team is a combination of words “YOU” and “UNITE,” which refers to “unification,” meaning that they will always stay with the fans as a whole.

The group consist of 9 members, including Eun-sang from K-pop boy group X1, which was formed through the Mnet’s audition program “Produce X 101,” Eun-ho, Steve, Hyun-seung, Hyung-seok, Woo-no, Kyung-mun, Sion, and DEY.
The debut album contains a total of 6 songs, including the double title songs “1 of 9” and “Everybody,” as well as “YOUNI-BIRTH,” and “RING RING RING.”
Among the tracks, “1 of 9” is a song that best emphasizes the charms of the members, and it has an impressive chorus with lyrics that beg to pick for them.
The agency introduced, “We dropped the double title songs, which is very exceptional for the debut album, in order to express diverse attractions of the group,” adding, “We added fun by improving the completeness of the song with YOUNITE’s own style of music.”
