Infinite’s Lee Sung-jong, leaves Woollim Entertainment…"New challenges"

SEOUL, Jan. 24 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group Infinite’s Lee Sung-jong has left the agency Woollim Entertainment following the expiration of his contract.

Woollim Entertainment said on Jan. 24, “We have decided to end our management for the member Lee Sung-jong and cheer for each other from now on.”

Lee also mentioned on his social media page, "I left Woollim, with which I’ve been together for a long time, and took on a new challenge," adding, "I am sincerely thankful to CEO Lee Joong-yeop and staffs of Woollim Entertainment for sharing happy and sad days and protecting me by my side for 13 years since I was a trainee.”

"I also thank Inspirit (Infinite fanclub name), who always gives me infinite love, and I always thank and love my members," adding, "As a member of INFINITE and Lee Sung-jong, I will pay back the love you guys have given me with diverse performances.”
