SEOUL, Dec. 20 (Yonhap) -- Hybe will prepare a special stage dedicated to, so-called, “President of Culture” Seo Tai-ji, who will be celebrating his 30th debut anniversary in 2022, for the “2022 Weverse Con” that will take place on the 31st, the agency announced Monday.
The line-up for the concert will each present their style of Seo’s songs adding their own interpretations and colors.
“We have been preparing for the stage with immense care communicating with SEOTAIJI Company about the set list, intro, VCR and speech,” explained the agency.
BTS, the agency’s headline-band, although will not attend the upcoming concert, has once appeared on Seo’s concert for his 25th debut anniversary as a guest in 2017.
The band performed a stage for the late Shin Hae Chul at Hybe’s end-of-year concert last year.
The upcoming Weverse Con’s line-up includes Hybe Label’s artists - Bumzu, DVWN, ENHYPEN, fromis_9, Justin Bieber, Lee Hyun, SEVENTEEN and TOMORROW X TOGETHER. Pop star Justin Bieber will perform online.
