SEOUL, April 15 (Yonhap) -- Group iKon will host a concert in Japan and meet local fans.
iKon will open the concert “iKON JAPAN TOUR 2022” from July 2 to 3, at Kobe World Hall, according to the agency YG Entertainment, on Friday.
This is the first Japanese tour of the group after two and a half years.
iKon will take the stage in Yoyogi National Stadium from July 9 to 10, after performing in Kobe for two days. A total of 6 performances will be held in two places.
“iKon set a record by surpassing 1 million viewers and selling all seats during the 2019 Japan tour," said an official from the group’s agency. "This tour, which will open after two and a half years, is expected to receive great responses."
iKon, a boy group that made its debut in Sep. 2015, released songs including “KILLING ME,” “LOVE SCENARIO,” “MY TYPE,” “APOLOGY,” and “RHYTHM TA.”
The group will make a comeback on May 3 with a new album.
