SEOUL, Dec. 21 (Yonhap) -- Group H.O.T’s hit song “Hope” has been selected as the title song for “2021 Winter SM Town : SMCU Express,” SM Entertainment’s winter music released in 10 years since 2011.
The winter album’s double title tracks are “Dreams Come True,” aespa’s recent remake and “Hope,” the entertainment announced Tuesday.
“Hope” was a side track for H.O.T’s 3rd regular album released in 1998. The remake version features rich sound with beautiful string melodies to the original song. All the SM singers who took part in producing the album sang the song together.
In particular, Kangta who composed and wrote lyrics for the song directed the vocal.
The other title track “Dreams Come True” is a remake version of S.E.S’s title song for their 2nd regular album dropped in 1998. The song was released on the 20th. BoA took part in producing the choreography and visual for the track.
Also, the winter album includes new songs such as TVXQ!’s “DINNER” and Girls’ Generation-Oh!GG’s “Melody.”
The upcoming winter album will be released on the 27th.
