SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) -- Actress Han So-hee clarified recent speculations on whether she had been pressured to film a bedroom scene for Netflix original mystery series "My Name," saying the scene was shot after having reached a mutual agreement with the production team.
Han's agency, 9ato Entertainment released a statement on Tuesday that read, "We would like to correct the assumptions on the actress having to film a specific scene that was decided without prior consent," adding, "All scenes were filmed after having sufficient discussion with the actress, director, and writer."
Last month, during a media interview, Han said that she found out about the scene in the middle of filming the series, adding, "I interpreted the scene to be a way of expressing (the main character) Ji-woo's acceptance of her personal emotions."

However, some raised speculations on whether Han was forced to shoot an unplanned bedroom scene on the spot.
"The scene was first discussed at the pre-production stage, and there were discussions on the possibility of filming a bed scene to portray Ji-woo's emotional development," 9ato Entertainment further explained. "At the time, the script was not completed, so it was agreed that the decision to proceed the scene would be finalized later while filming."
"The scene was later evaluated to be appropriate since it portrays Ji-woo's personal side while explaining the reasons behind her amplitude of emotions shown in later scenes," the agency added. "The scene was decided to be proceeded under the consent of the actress and production team."
"Since we know all the concerns and hardships the production crew and fellow actors went through to complete this work, we wanted to directly clarify the speculations," 9ato Entertainment said. "Please refrain from making any wrong assumptions or creating further misunderstandings."
