SEOUL, March 18 (Yonhap) -- Singer Seo Tae-ji will be streaming a live video of one of his concerts on Twitter for the whole world to see.

Twitter announced to stream the revised version of Seo Tae-ji's national tour, "Quiet Night", which was performed back in 2015, through the singer's twitter account on the 18th at 11:00 p.m (KST).

This is the first time that Seo Tae-ji will air a live concert on Twitter, which allows the public to watch live performances such as "Must Triumph", "Ultramania" "Internet War", "F.M Business", and "Take Five" for free.

The singer's agency, Seo Taiji Company mentioned, "We hope Seo Tae-ji's music will help our music fans around the world who are stressed from living in this pandemic."

Kim Yeon-jeong, the Head of Global K-pop and K-content partnerships at Twitter said, "We expect this streaming event to help shed light on the history and background of K-pop on Twitter as well as create various conversations between people."

In 1992, the singer made his debut as a boy group named Seo Taiji and Boys with two other members, Yang Hyunsuk and Lee Juno. Seo Taiji and Boys are considered one of the most influential figures within the K-pop music industry to this day.

The music group earned their fame by introducing dance music based on pop and hip-hop rhythms for the first time in Korea and have contributed greatly to the concept of K-pop and fandom culture.
