SEOUL, Mar. 18 (Yonhap) – S. Korean singer BoA, often dubbed the "Star of Asia,” will start the “Self Cover Project” to mark her 20th debut anniversary in Japan.
It is a project where the singer selects a total of 10 songs from the songs she has released in Japan and covers them after rearrangement, and the song will be released for 10 consecutive weeks starting Mar. 21.
The first song is "AGGRESSIVE," which is from BoA's sixth full Japanese album "THE FACE,” dropped in February, 2008, and it will be released through diverse global music platforms, including Korea and Japan, on Mar. 21 midnight.

BoA will hold the “BoA 20th Anniversary Special Live - The Greatest-“ at Yoyogi National Stadium in Tokyo on May 29 and release her 20th debut anniversary album “The Greatest” on May 30.
BoA made her debut in Japan in May, 2001, with her first single "ID; PEACE B" and topped the Oricon chart for the first time as a Korean singer with her first full album "LISTEN TO MY HEART,” selling over 10 million albums in Japan.
