SEOUL, Feb. 9 (Yonhap) -- Tablo of the hip-hop group Epik High, which is set to make comeback in the middle of this month, tested positive for COVID-19.
“Tablo has been confirmed with COVID-19,” said the agency Ours, on Wednesday.
“Tablo felt subtle symptoms on the 3rd and took a PCR test which came out negative. He voluntarily retested and the result came out positive this morning,” explained the agency.
It has been confirmed that the artist received his third dose of vaccine.
Currently, Tablo has mild symptoms and is waiting for guidance from the quarantine authorities.
The agency said, "Other members and staff who recently contacted Tablo conducted rapid antigen tests and all of them tested negative."
With Tablo’s infection, there will be some changes in Epik High’s comeback schedule, which was set for Feb. 14.
“Epik High will cancel all the upcoming schedules and follow the instructions of the authorities until Tablo’s quarantine ends,” explained the agency.
The online press conference which was scheduled to be held on the afternoon of Feb. 14, the release date of the album, was also canceled.
"The release of the second part of the 10th full-length album 'Epik High Is Here 下' will proceed without change,” said the company.
