Chang Ki-ha to start solo career on Feb. 22… “I’m not retired”

SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Yonhap) -- Singer-songwriter Chang Ki-ha, who led the band “Kiha & The Faces,” will start his solo career.

Chang will release a solo debut album “Levitation” (translated) on Feb. 22 through music sites, according to agency DooRooDooRoo Artist Company, Monday.

It has been three years since the band “Kiha & The Faces” disbanded in 2018.

Chang announced the start of his solo activities by uploading the single “February 22, 2022” (translated) today.

In the new song, Chang narrated, “(My friend said) Now you quit music / what are you going to do / I said / I’m not retired” and shared the news of his upcoming album.

Chang debuted as the vocal of the band “Kiha & The Faces” in 2008 and was recognized for his skills by releasing experimental songs with retro and originality, such as "Cheap Coffee,” “Living the Carefree Life,” and, “That’s Just What You Think.”

After 10 years of band activities, he also published an essay, “Isn't it irrelevant?” (translated).
