SEOUL, April 4 (Yonhap) -- Actress Jeon Jong-seo's agency has issued a comprehensive denial of the school violence allegations raised on an anonymous online community, vowing legal action in response.

Andmarq, Jeon Jong-seo's agency, stated in a statement on the 4th, "Upon confirming the posts on the online community, we meticulously checked the facts through the actressr (Jeon Jong-seo) and those around her, and confirmed that the claims made in the posts are entirely false."

Furthermore, they added, "Speculative posts and malicious comments have been indiscriminately written and spread, causing serious psychological harm to the actress and those around her. Therefore, we will respond strongly to the spread of false information."

They also explained, "The posts that were causing controversy have been deleted," and stated, "We are preparing to file a lawsuit with evidence collected by the agency against the posts containing false information."

Recently, on the anonymous community application Blind, there was a post alleging that Jeon Jong-seo was a perpetrator of school violence during her middle school years. The writer stated, "Jeon Jong-seo often stole or took away other students' gym clothes and school uniforms," expressing sadness at the memories associated with seeing Jeon Jong-seo's face.

Meanwhile, actress Roh Heeji clarified on social media on the same day, saying, "It seems that there is a misconception that the celebrity 'from Banpo High School alumni born in 1988' is me, but it's not me," denying any involvement in school violence.

Previously, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho claimed in a video the day before that actress Song Ha-yoon had committed school violence in the past and that there was another celebrity one year younger than her at the scene. However, it turned out to be false when Roh Heeji was mistakenly identified as the celebrity mentioned alongside Song Ha-yoon, prompting her to clarify the misunderstanding.
