Red Velvet's Irene to Release First Solo Album This Month

SEOUL, Nov. 12 (Yonhap) -- Irene of the girl group Red Velvet will release her first solo mini-album late this month, her agency said on Tuesday. 

Titled "Like A Flower," the album marks Irene’s solo debut after 10 years since her debut. The release date is set for Nov. 26, according to SM Entertainment.

The album will feature eight tracks across various genres, including the title track of the same name, rooted in pop.

On the same day, Irene teased her solo debut by posting a video on Red Velvet’s official social media account, symbolizing her journey from the water to a broader world. 

Since debuting with Red Velvet in 2014, Irene has participated in group activities and also collaborated with fellow member Seulgi for a subunit.
