SEOUL, Feb. 17(Yonhap) – S. Korean actor Kang Ha-neul will transform into an anonymous actor.
KBS has announced on Feb. 17, “Kang Ha-neul will lead the new drama ‘Trees Die on Their Feet(translated).’”
“Trees Die on Their Feet” depicts the story of an anonymous stage actor, who plays the role of a defected grandson to fulfill the last wish of an old lady who is terminally ill.
Kang plays Yoo Jae-heon, an anonymous theater actor from the district theater troupe. Yoo is an optimistic character who is satisfied with what he has rather than what he lacks, and he faces a turning point in his life after he accepts a proposition from an old gentleman.
Producer Yoon Sang-ho behind “River Where the Moon Rises” and “Saimdang, Memoir of Colors” is in charge of directing the series.
“Trees Die on Their Feet” will soon confirm the cast of the lead roles and start filming.
