SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) -- Starship Entertainment has revealed their new 6-piece girl-group’s name, “IVE,” and logo on Tuesday.
This is their new girl band after launching WJSN 5 years ago in 2016.
IVE is from the word “I Have” which contains the band’s ambition “To show you what I and we have in an IVE-ish way of confidence.”
“We will clearly deliver IVE’s unique image and own message as a ready and set girl-group not as a group going through growth stories,” said Starship Entertainment.
Especially, as there are high possibilities for Jang Won-young and An Yu-Jin of the entertainment and former members of ex-IZ*ONE to join the to-be-launched girl-group, K-pop fans are paying keen attention to the news.
