SEOUL, Apr. 18 (Yonhap) – The American film “UMMA” starring Korean-Canadian-American actress Sandra Oh will be exclusively released in CGV next month.

“UMMA” is a thriller movie that portrays the relationship of mother and daughter that can never be cut off, and it depicts the mysterious story of Amanda, who lived a peaceful life with her daughter at a suburb farm, receiving the remains of her mother from Korea.

The film was directed by the Korean-American filmmaker Iris Shim, and it was produced by director Sam Raimi of “Spider-Man” series starring Tobey Maguire and “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which is ahead of its release.
