SEOUL, Mar. 25 (Yonhap) -- Seoul Grand Park announced that pictures containing the history of the Seoul Grand Park, including the Changgyeongwon era till the beginning of the 2000s has been digitally archived and is to be released to the public on the 25th.

The Seoul Grand Park took its form as the former Changgyeongwon Zoo (1909-1983) in Jongno-gu moved to Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do in 1984.

The digital archived (grandpark.seoul.go.kr/archive/main.do) shows a total of 600 photos including the process of creating Seoul Grand Park and Seoul Land from the days of Changgyeongwon before the 1980s to the 1990s. The scenery of visitors in the Changgyeongwon in the 1970s is also portrayed through the pictures.

The Seoul Grand Park will also be holding a quiz to commemorate the opening of the digital archive. Anyone is welcome to participate until the 31st of this month. Through a lottery, a small gift will also be given to the selected ones.
