SEOUL, Feb. 14 (Yonhap) -- TVING will drop a brand-new variety show “Bro Marble” (tentative title) that is based on “Blue Marble Game” – a Korean version of Monopoly – with Dubai in its background in the first half of the year.

This upcoming show is based on the rules of the Korean board game Blue Marble, where instead of playing across locations in a single city as in Monopoly, the players can move around and purchase cities from all over the world by rolling dice and paying tolls if one lands on a city owned by another player. The show will bring the game into real life on a massive scale for adults who have come to love money.

The players will be competing against each other to own as many landmarks as possible in Dubai, with tolls that must be paid only in cash. The host of this show, who are referred to as “bros,” can freely enjoy traveling in the landmarks they own throughout the game.

In order to do so, they will have to overcome some challenges, such as enduring in the middle of a desert where there is nothing else but sand and dust, traveling after losing all their money and escaping from a deserted island.

The host of this forthcoming show will be singer and actor Lee Seung-gi, actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Lee Dong-hwi, and comedian Ji Seok-jin, along with singer Kyu-hyun from Super Junior, Joshua and Hoshi of the boy band Seventeen.

The show will pique the interest of viewers as the hosts face unpredictable futures and unveil their human desires in front of the cash.

The SBS production crew will be in charge of delivering the show. The exact release date of the show is yet to be unveiled.
