SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actress Kim So-hyun and singer-cum-actor Hwang Min-hyun have been confirmed to star in tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday series “Useless Lies,” the local cable channel announced Thursday.
This forthcoming fantasy rom-com series will follow the story of a woman gifted with the ability to listen to others’ thoughts. She then gets involved with a music prodigy who cannot lie but is falsely accused as a murder suspect.
In the series, Kim will suit up as Mok Seol-hee, who is unable to trust anyone due to her special ability. Meanwhile, Hwang will star opposite Kim. He is set to play the role of Kim Do-ha, a composer with a secret.
This series is scheduled to premiere in July.
