MC Kim Sung-joo tests positive for COVID-19

SEOUL, Feb. 15 (Yonhap) -- MC Kim Sung-joo, who hosts various programs, tested positive for COVID-19 according to agency Janggoon Entertainment, Tuesday.
 

The agency explained Kim has mild sore throat symptoms and is in self-quarantine.

As Kim is infected, it appears that the programs he appears in will face interruptions in the filming and schedule.

Kim is in charge of 7 programs including MBC’s “King of Mask Singer,” TV Chosun’s “Tomorrow’s National Singer,” KBS’s “Winner,” “Operation Time,” and JTBC’s “Let’s play soccer 2.” He also hosts Channel A’s “Steel Troops 2” and TV Chosun’s “The Nation Sings” (translated), which is scheduled to air next month.
