SEOUL, Dec. 4 (Yonhap) -- Singer-actor Lee Seung-gi is set to present a reinterpretation of his hit song Because You're My Woman in collaboration with Cha Eun-woo.
Big Planet Made Entertainment announced on the 4th that Lee Seung-gi will release a remake album titled With at 6 p.m., commemorating the 20th anniversary of his debut.
Lee Seung-gi explained his motivation for the album, stating, "I felt it was necessary to reintroduce myself to the public as a singer. I hope this becomes a fun and refreshing remake that people will enjoy revisiting."
The album With features remakes of Lee Seung-gi's signature songs, reimagined with artists such as Lyn, Cha Eun-woo, and Lee Soo. Notable collaborations include the title track Return with Lyn, Because You're My Woman featuring Cha Eun-woo, and Delete performed with Lee Soo. The Story That Couldn't Be Told Yet includes contributions from Lee Mujin, rounding out a total of five tracks.
Regarding the title track, Lee Seung-gi remarked, "The arrangement of Return was electrifying, and it felt fitting as the title track. As one of my most popular songs, I had no hesitation in choosing it."

Reflecting on his work with Cha Eun-woo for Because You're My Woman, Lee noted, "I thought collaborating with Cha Eun-woo would make the song more appealing to a wider audience. It was my first time working with him, and he quickly adapted and made the song his own during recording. I’m extremely satisfied with the result."
Debuting in 2004, Lee Seung-gi has built a successful career as a ballad singer, releasing numerous hits. He has also gained popularity as a variety show star on programs like 1 Night 2 Days and New Journey to the West and through his work as an actor.
Committed to continuing his musical journey, Lee emphasized his desire for consistent and enjoyable activities, saying, "Rather than having specific goals, I want to continue doing this for a long time, happily. If I have a place where I can be of use, that’s enough for me."
