SEOUL, June 2 (Yonhap) -- RIIZE has claimed first place on five domestic music programs with their full-length album title track Fly Up.
According to SM Entertainment on Monday, RIIZE topped music shows such as KBS Music Bank, MBC Show! Music Core, and SBS Inkigayo from May 28 to June 1.
RIIZE shared their gratitude, saying, “No matter how confidently we prepared the album, we know that winning isn’t something to be taken for granted. We’re deeply thankful to our fans, BRIIZE, for their strong support. We’ll keep striving to grow as artists.”
Their first full album Odyssey, released on May 19, sold 1.8 million copies in its first week, achieving million-seller status.
Internationally, the album topped China’s QQ Music digital album sales chart and Japan’s Line Music’s real-time and daily Top 100 album charts.
British music magazine Clash praised the album, saying it “beautifully captures youth as a complex time of struggle, freedom, growth, and reflection.”
RIIZE will hold their concert tour RIIZING LOUD from July 4 to 6 at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul.
