SEOUL, Feb. 12 (Yonhap) -- Singer-songwriter Gugu won the final round of the singer-songwriter competition program "ONE CONCOURS" held Wednesday in Seoul, organizer Mint Paper said.

"ONE CONCOURS" is a competition launched in 2016 by Mint Paper, the organizer behind major music festivals such as the Grand Mint Festival and Beautiful Mint Life.

This year, about 250 teams applied, with nine finalists advancing to the final round. The finalists included Gugu, Sanha, who appeared on JTBC’s audition program "Sing Again 4," and Choi So-na, a former audio engineer.

As the winner, Gugu will receive 2 million won (US$1,500) in prize money, along with opportunities to participate in a Mint Paper project album and perform at festivals hosted by the organizer.
