TVXQ! releases OST for Japan debut 20th anniversary film

SEOUL, Feb. 12 (Yonhap) -- TVXQ! released a new Japanese single, "IDENTITY," at 0 a.m. Thursday to mark the group’s 20th anniversary since its debut in Japan, agency SM Entertainment said.

"IDENTITY" serves as the original soundtrack for the film of the same name commemorating the duo’s two decades of activities in Japan. Set to be released on Feb. 20, the movie features interviews with the members as well as footage from their live performances.

The song conveys the message that one’s identity is shaped by the bonds formed with precious people, according to the agency.

TVXQ! will also hold a pair of concerts celebrating its Japanese debut anniversary at Nissan Stadium in Yokohama on April 25-26 under the title "RED OCEAN."
