SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Yonhap) -- K-pop star G-Dragon and boy group Stray Kids will take part in a renowned charity concert set to be held on Feb. 22 (local time) at Paris La Defense Arena in France, industry sources said Thursday.

According to the music industry, G-Dragon and Stray Kids have been named in the lineup for “Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes,” alongside global pop stars such as Christina Aguilera and A$AP Rocky.

The event is a charity concert organized by a hospital foundation chaired by Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron.

Since 1989, the foundation has held the “Yellow Coins” fundraising campaign almost every year in early January to support hospitalized children and adolescents.

Beginning in 2023, the foundation expanded the campaign by hosting concerts featuring musicians from around the world, with proceeds from ticket sales going to the cause. G-Dragon took part in last year’s concert, while Stray Kids appeared in the 2024 edition.
