SEOUL, May 22 (Yonhap) -- Actors Son Hyun-joo and Kim Myung-min will join forces as a judge and the leader of a criminal organization in the new drama 'Your Honor,' set to premiere this summer.
On the 22nd, Genie TV announced that 'Your Honor' will be the follow-up to the currently airing Monday-Tuesday drama 'Crash,' with the first broadcast scheduled for this summer.
If the 12-episode series 'Crash' ends as scheduled on June 18, 'Your Honor' is expected to premiere on June 24 without any hiatus.
'Your Honor' tells the story of two fathers who become monsters for the sake of their children, confronting each other in a tense showdown. Son Hyun-joo plays Song Pan-ho, a judge respected by all for his warm personality, while Kim Myung-min takes on the role of Kim Kang-heon, a domineering and ruthless crime boss.
The drama is produced by Pyo Min-soo, known for 'Moon Embracing the Sun' (2023), 'The Third Charm' (2018), 'Producer' (2015), 'IRIS 2' (2012), and 'Full House' (2004), who participates as a creator. Yoo Jong-seon, who directed 'Paper Moon' (2023), 'Secret Royal Inspector & Joy' (2021), and 'Designated Survivor: 60 Days' (2019), will direct the series, with writer Kim Jae-hwan of 'Boys Generation' (2023) penning the script.
'Your Honor' will be available on Genie TV, Genie TV Mobile, and ENA.
