SEOUL, Feb. 3(Yonhap) – The soundtrack for “7FATES: CHAKHO,” a webtoon·web novel based on K-pop superband BTS, will be released.
HYPE said on Feb. 3, “The soundtrack ‘Stay Alive’ for the HYBE Original Story Series ‘7FATES: CHAKHO’ will be released through Naver webtoon global service on Feb. 5 at 11 a.m.”
BTS’ Suga participated in the song as a producer and Jungkook sang the soundtrack.
“Stay Alive,” the title of the song, contains a meaning that it is valuable and meaningful to survive in such a tough world and implicitly expresses a story of 7 characters who are thrown into the harsh destiny.
HYBE explained, "Suga produced the track based on the actual synopsis and the webtoon sketch with Jungkook’s voice further enhancing the song’s mood.”
The part of the soundtrack will be released along with the fourth episode of “7FATES: CHAKHO” on Feb. 5, and the full version of the song will be released through global music platforms and streaming platforms on Feb. 11.
“7FATES: CHAKHO” is a collaborated work of BTS that is reinterpreted into the webtoon and web novel from the idea of “Chakhogapsa(捉虎甲士),” which is known as an army that hunts tigers, and the BTS members transform into the tiger hunters.
The series is released as a Saturday webtoon and webnovel, and is currently being launched in 10 languages around the world.
