SEOUL, May 19 (Yonhap) -- The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, along with The Korean Archaeological Society, is recruiting participants for the "Summer Excavation Camp," operated to nurture archaeological experts from the 19th till the 31st.
The participants will be able to receive training and experience of the research process at major excavation sites of the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage, including the Jjoksaem Excavation Site in Jjoksaem District and Wolseong, Gimhae Bonghwang-dong Ruins, Ancient Tombs in Nuam-ri, Chungju, Pungnaptoseong Fortress and Gyeongbokgung palace in Seoul while academic experts and researchers will serve as lecturers.
This year's excavation camp will be held from 21st June till the 8th of July.
College students who are majoring in archaeology or a related field are eligible to apply. 40 people will be selected. For more information, visit the website of the Korean Archaeological Society.
