SF talk show combined with XR to air next month

SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Yonhap) -- From virtual world in metabus and artificial uterus center to world outside Earth. SF talk show that embodies hyperspace using latest video technology will be aired.

Korea Educational Broadcasting System, EBS announced on Thursday that Korea's first SF talk show "The Dreamers" which implemented technologies such XR, AR, and deep fake will be aired Nov. 10.

"The Dreamers" looks into future technologies and social problems that follow. The program talks about criminal cases in which future world's detectives solved.

The program, which was first released as three-episodes pilot program last year, received silver medal at talk show category of WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival and won one category of this month's PD award by Korean Producers association.

Producer Lee Mi-sol who made Science documentary "4th Human" and "Watching human with brain" (both translated) and novelist So Hyun-soo who wrote "Printera" and "Avi." Actor Ha Seok-jin and Chuu of Loona will host.

To be aired on Nov. 10 at 10:45 p.m.
