SEOUL, Nov. 18 (Yonhap) -- “Emergency Declaration,” a film starring veteran actors and actress, Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun and Jeon Do-yeon has been confirmed to be released in January 2022, its distributor Showbox announced Thursday.
Directed by Han Jae-rim producer of “The Face Reader” (2013) and “The King” (2017), the upcoming film portrays people struggling in the sky and on the base as a plane to Hawaii suddenly announces to make an emergency landing.
The film was invited to the Cannes Film Festival in July as a non-competitive selection. Song will play the detective, Lee and Yim Si-wan will be the passengers, Jeon will be the minister of the Land, Infrastructure and Transport and actor Kim Nam-gil will play the First Officer.
