TWICE to hold solo concert at Tokyo National Stadium in April

SEOUL, Dec. 8 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group TWICE will hold a solo concert at Tokyo’s National Stadium next year, becoming the first overseas artist to perform independently at the venue, JYP Entertainment said Monday.

The concert will be held on April 25, 26 and 28, according to the agency. 

TWICE plans to open the stadium in a full 360-degree configuration, accommodating up to 80,000 fans per show for a total of 240,000 over three days.

The concerts will be held as additional performances for the group’s sixth world tour, "THIS IS FOR."

The group had previously hinted at a larger-scale concert during the finale of its Japanese dome tour in September, which drew a combined audience of 400,000.
