SEOUL, March 26th (Yonhap) -- Park Na-rae, a comedian who has gained a loyal fan base throughout the years has eventually issued a self-written apology after she faced backlash for her sexual harassment remarks on a web entertainment show.
On March 26th, Park Na-rae wrote on her Instagram, "I am sorry for causing discomfort to many people who have watched the inappropriate video on the "Hey Na-rae" show."
The comedian apologized again saying, "It was my responsibility to carefully check the props as well as properly act out the role I was given, but due to my immature behavior I have disappointed many people."
"I've received so much love from the public and I'm sorry to those who have trusted me and supported me throughout the years. From now on, I'll try to become a person who thinks deeply about every world and every action," she added.
Park Na-rae caused controversy by making sexual harassment remarks while introducing male dolls on a web entertainment show called, "Hey Narae" launched by CJ ENM's digital entertainment channel, Studio Waffle.
In the video, Park Na-rae was seen changing the clothes of a male doll while calling it a "I'm strong man" and took the doll's arm to shape the genitals while making inappropriate jokes.
