SEOUL, Feb. 7 (Yonhap) -- Singer Navi will drop the new song “Gift” after 2 years and 5 months, according to agency RND Company, Monday.
“Gift” (2022) is the remake of the duo MeloMance’s popular song “Gift" (2017). Originally loved as a wedding and proposal song, Navi’s remake will add the happiness and delicateness felt through a woman's perspective.
Navi, who debuted with “I Love you” in 2008, was loved with her songs including “Heart Damage,” “I ain't going home tonight,” and “Well Done.”
Navi explained, “While I was busy with childbirth and childcare, I prepared and practiced for the new song from now and then,” adding, “‘Gift’ is a song I enjoyed listening to, and I decided to remake it when MeloMance appeared as a guest on my radio show while I was dating my husband.”
