SEOUL, Feb. 24 (Yonhap) -- ASTRO rolled out their new single "Twilight," their agency Fantagio announced.
Released Sunday at 6 p.m., Twilight is a special track commemorating ASTRO’s 9th anniversary, produced by leader JinJin. The song metaphorically expresses overcoming difficult and dark times, likening it to the moment the rising sun emerges.
The track begins with the sound of a ticking clock and piano accompaniment, gradually blending with a synthesizer-driven chorus and the members’ harmonized vocals.
Since debuting on Feb. 23, 2016, ASTRO has consistently celebrated their anniversaries with special releases, including last year’s fan song Circles for their 8th anniversary.
Along with the new single, the members will engage with fans through performances and broadcasts. Cha Eun-woo is currently filming the Netflix series The Wonderfuls, while Yoon San-ha is set to hold a small theater concert on March 21.
