SEOUL, July 19 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group Seventeen's title track “_WORLD” from "Sector 17" the repackage album, release on July 18 topped iTunes “Top Song Chart” in 28 different countries, announced agency PLEDIS Entertainment on Tuesday.

“Sector 17” is an album about a new world that members of Seventeen found at the end of their journey to become a blazing sun. On top of Seventeen’s 4th album “Face the Sun”, the title track “World” followed by “Round and Round”, “Fallin’ Flower”, and “Cheers” by Seventeen’s S.Coups, Hoshi, and Woozi were added to the repackaged album.

Seventeen’s latest repackaged album topped one of the biggest Japanese music streaming service “Line Music”, and the title “World” topped “Top 100” in Line Music.

According to the data provided by Hanteo chart, sale of the physical album of “Sector 17” proved SEVENTEEN’s popularity by recording over 935 thousand copies on the day of its release. Also the presales amount of their repackaged album exceeded over 1.2 million sales.

As a result, SEVENTEEN is certain to become a million seller for seven consecutive works since its third full-length album "An Ode" released in September of 2019.
