SEOUL, Feb. 8(Yonhap) – K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” choreography video has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube, according to the agency YG Entertainment on Feb. 8.
The video, released in July, 2020, exceeded 1 billion views on Monday at 10:19 p.m., which is about a year and seven months after the release. BLACKPINK is the first K-pop artist to have recorded 1 billion views with the choreography video other than music videos.
YG Entertainment said, "The music video of this song has about 1.048 billion views on YouTube, which is a little higher than that of the choreography video," adding, "It is unusual to find the 'double popularity', which records almost the same number."
“How You Like That' is a song that contains the message of flying high in any situation.
BLACKPINK's YouTube contents with billion views reach 32 videos, and the accumulative views on the channel surpassed 22.4 billion. The number of the channel’s subscribers is around 72 million.
