BTS maintains long-running hits on Billboard charts

SEOUL, Feb. 16(Yonhap) – K-pop suberband BTS has been performing long-running hits on Billboard charts.

BTS and the band Coldplay’s joint song “My Universe” each ranked No. 18 and No. 30 on “Billboard Global”(Excl. U.S.) and “Billboard Global 200,” according to Billboard’s latest chart released on Feb. 15(KST).

These two charts rank songs based on streaming and sales in over 200 countries.

Besides, “My Universe” ranked No. 12 on “Hot Alternative Songs,” No. 12 on “Alternative Digital Song Sales,” No. 17 on “Rock Digital Song Sales,” No. 33 on “Adult Pop Airplay,” and No. 54 on “Billboard Canadian Hot 100.”

BTS was also named on “Billboard Global 200” by ranking “Butter” at 47th, “Dynamite” at 58th, and “Permission To Dance” at 139th.

On the “Billboard Global” (Excl. U.S.) chart, the group set records with “Butter” at 27th, “Dynamite” at 38th, and “Permission To Dance” at 96th.

Meanwhile, the group’s fourth full album “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7,” which was released in February, 2020, ranked No. 40 on “Top Album Sales” and No. 1 on “World Album.”

The album “BE,” which was released in November, 2020, ranked No.67 on “Top Current Album Sales” and No. 6 on “World Album.”
