SEOUL, Feb. 17 (Yonhap) -- Wavve, one of the largest Korean-owned video streaming platforms, will be holding a promotional event in celebration of the release of season 2 of its original television series “Taxi Driver,” starring Lee Je-hoon and Esom. The online streaming service will be offering a 33% discount for its annual premium plan.
The service’s annual premium plan allows up to four users to use the service simultaneously with FHD or higher quality. When four users are to use the plan, each one will be paying only 2,000 won per month.
The users will be able to watch “Taxi Driver 2,” which was widely acclaimed in Korea in 2021 for its breathtaking plot lines and exquisite acting skills of the cast, along with the first season, which was exclusively released on Wavve.
In addition to this series, the streaming service provides a slew of content – more than 300,000 works –, ranging from original series, television series, and films to overseas series.
“Taxi Driver” tells the story of Rainbow Taxi Company and the taxi driver, Do-gi, who realizes justice that society has lost by seeking revenge on those who hurt others, either physically or mentally, with their evil deeds.
