Stray Kids' 'Lalala' Music Video Surpasses 200 Million Views on YouTube, Sixth Overall Milestone

SEOUL, Oct. 18 (Yonhap) -- Stray Kids' music video for Lalala has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube, as announced by their agency, JYP Entertainment, on the 17th. 

 

The video reached the milestone at around 1 p.m., achieving this feat approximately 11 months after its release in November of last year.

 

This marks the sixth time a Stray Kids music video has reached 200 million views, following previous hits like God's Menu, Back Door, Thunderous, MANIAC, and CASE 143.

 

Lalala carries a message of resilience and joy, emphasizing that "our rock will continue no matter the circumstances." The track also made a successful entry onto the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, and its album Rock-STAR reached the top spot on the Billboard 200, cementing the group's international appeal.

 

In addition to this achievement, Stray Kids released their new track Come Play on the same day. The song, created in collaboration with Young Miko and Tom Morello, serves as the theme song for the second season of Netflix's animated series Arcane, based on the world of the game League of Legends.

 

Stray Kids are currently on their largest-ever world tour, dominate, continuing to showcase their global influence and fanbase.
