TXT ranks No. 26 on Billboard’s main album chart

SEOUL, June 8 (Yonhap) – K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER(TXT) has succeeded in entering the U.S. Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200” for three consecutive weeks.

TXT’s “minisode 2: Thursday's Child,” which was dropped last month, ranked No. 26 on “Billboard 200,” according to Billboard’s latest chart released on June 7(U.S. Time).

The album first entered “Billboard 200” at fourth and recorded No. 9 on the chart last week. Besides, it also topped the “World Album” chart, ranked No. 5 on the “Top Album Sales” and the “Top Current Album Sales” chart, and recorded No. 11 on the “Tastemaker Albums” chart.

The senior group BTS has continued its long run on various Billboard charts as well.

The septet entered “Billboard Global 200” with “Butter” at 81st, “Dynamite” at 87th, and “My Universe” with 99th.

On “Billboard Global”(Excl. U.S.) chart, the group ranked “Butter” at 55th, “Dynamite” at 60th, “My Universe” at 66th, and “Permission To Dance” at 145th.

BTS also listed various albums on the “World Album” chart, including “LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her” (No. 5), “BE” (No. 6), “LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear” (No. 7), “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7” (No. 8), “LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer” (No. 9), and “MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA” (No. 11).

Moreover, the superband entered the “Top Album Sales” chart with “LOVE YOURSELF 承 Her” at 42nd and “LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear” at 73rd.

Meanwhile, PSY’s “That That,” a song in which member Suga participated in featuring and producing, recorded No. 85 on “Billboard Global 200,” No. 51 on “Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.), and No. 7 on “World Digital Song Sales.”
