SEOUL, Jan. 9 (Yonhap) -- Kim Wan-sun will release a duet song titled "Lucky" with Red Velvet's Seulgi next week, according to her agency KWSunflower on Thursday.
The song, to be released on Jan. 15 at 6 p.m., delivers a message that "sometimes, it takes courage to leave a relationship that causes hardship, and this can surprisingly turn out to be a stroke of luck."
Park Jin-young, the renowned artist and producer, wrote, composed, arranged, and produced the track.
Kim Wan-sun previously collaborated with Park Jin-young in the music video for his November 2023 release, Changed Man, performing paired choreography together.
KWSunflower stated, "As a continuation of their work on Changed Man, Park Jin-young has gifted Kim Wan-sun with the dance track 'Lucky,' which symbolizes a stroke of luck."
The choreography for "Lucky" was crafted by the famous dance crew La Chica, incorporating the distinct personalities of both artists. Kim Wan-sun and Seulgi also appear together in the music video, set to be released on January 15.
