SEOUL, Apr. 12 (Yonhap) – The French luxury brand Dior will showcase its “Pre-fall 2022 women’s ready-to-wear collection” at Ewha Womans University on Apr. 30.
According to Dior on Apr. 12, it is the result of the partnership forged between Dior and Ewha Womans University last month to further groom women leaders.
It will be the first runway show by Dior in Korea since 2007 when it had one at the Seoul Olympic Park for the Asia-Pacific fashion show marking its 60th anniversary. It will also be a luxury foreign fashion house’s first fashion show in a university campus in Korea.
Dior chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari said, “This year, the house is forging new powerful ties with the Republic of Korea,” adding, “From our partnership with Ewha Womans University – as part of our Women@Dior program highlighting transmission, education and sisterhood – to the Dior Fall 2022 show in Seoul, we are more committed than ever to celebrating creative dialogues and cultural plurality.”
